did i just hear on the radio that the whole world has agreed to limit emissions so that the world doesn't get any more than two degrees warmer than "PRE-INDUSTRIAL LEVELS"?
am i missing something?
any honest assessment of temperature records kept before the industrial age began (let's call it 1800, just for the sake of argument) were sketchy at best and most likely came from (o dearmegoodness) those male-dominated European societies where they usually revered God as creator. Are we going to let our climate change initiative stand on data collected by such individuals?
we stand on the shoulders of giants and shout, "See how tall we are!"
